ESD gloves

The abbreviation ESD stands for Electrostatic Discharge and describes the conductivity of safety gloves or other work clothing. People constantly become statically charged through their movements, which can lead to serious problems in certain activities, especially in work environments in the electrical industry. Static charge, for example, binds dust, which should be avoided in clinically clean work; but most importantly, static charge can discharge very suddenly and destroy sensitive electronic components. This discharge is usually not even noticed by humans, but can cause enormous damage to conductive components, which are then destroyed.
